St. George Marathon Closes Tonight! (this from last Monday)

Just a reminder about the St. George Marathon registration closing. The drawing for entries will be tomorrow and the names will be announced on their website. This is a great race – hopefully those of you who entered get picked!

Marathon Maniac Monday – Mileage Runs and Marathoning

This post was all about mixing the exciting worlds of trips that have no purpose except to earn miles and marathoning on the spot. This shows you how you can plan a trip to just anywhere for the purpose of earning miles and turn around to come right home – after running a marathon in the middle! This can be exciting, fun, and adventurous. Give it a try!

Tuesday Tools and Tips – ITA Matrix

ITA Matrix is one of the best tools for finding cheap flights anywhere in the world. If you have some flexibility and want to go somewhere interesting, give it a try. You will be back here every time you are ever looking for flights after that!

Rachel’s Application Round – UPDATE

Last week, my wife, Rachel, had applied for some cards and I had given the list and the purpose for each one. In this post, I gave the update on which cards she was approved for, including an afterthought card that popped up a few days later. After we finish meeting the minimum spending, we will have earned another 300,000+ points/miles! This is why we apply for cards!

Bluebird Checks

Bluebird, the answer to meeting minimum spending and earning more points and miles, began issuing checks a few weeks ago. This makes a great banking product even better. Writing a Bluebird check is a little different, however. Read this to see what you need to know.

W Washington DC Hotel Review

A couple of weeks ago, we stayed at the W Washington. It was a really great hotel with a great location and a lot going for it. The best is that it can be obtained with points! Check out our review for a potential race hotel the next time you run in Washington DC.

Thanks for following along this week! Check back here each day this week for new stories!
